2011 Annual Chamber Dinner Recap

Over 200 investors, business and municipal leaders, and guests were in attendance at Morris Country Club in Morris for the Annual Dinner hosted jointly by the Grundy Economic Development Council (GEDC) and the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Mr. Pete Brummel, Senior Vice President of Grundy Bank and current Chair of the GEDC welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their support of the two organizations. Brummel then introduced Grundy County Board Vice-Chair John Almer. Mr. Almer addressed the audience, and offered remarks about the importance of the GEDC and Chamber stating, "The boards and staff of these two organizations give of their time and talent in an effort to improve the business climate in our region, which in turn helps the County as a whole".
